We were engaged by a consultancy firm to provide UX for an in-house content management system. The application's purpose was rapid reporting of public news items affecting the company, Nestlé. As with our other work in this space, we prioritised speed, simplicity and a deliberately limited set of actions to make reporting as efficient as possible.
• Exceptionally fast
A report reaches the right people in under 60 seconds.
• Clear starting point
Logging in gives immediate access to a dashboard with notifications, including keywords and summaries that support quick action.
• Deliberate constraint
By restricting how much a user could do within the app, we made reporting remarkably quick and simple. This was a clear case of less delivering more.

Meetings and coordination carry a significant cost, particularly for large organisations. A platform this quick to use allows the client to operate more effectively. Spending less time discussing who needs to own an action and more time simply clarifying direction.
Completing a report takes only four steps. The application was kept deliberately tight and narrow in scope. Because the actions are quick and repetitive, users become faster the more they use it, creating a sense of mastery that supports long-term retention.
Writing a detailed email takes considerable time; selecting keywords takes almost none. A concise summary report is available for review before it's sent to the relevant people.
